I saw this tonight and found it to be wholly entertaining and satisfying.
    Proof that Metallica is human.
Lots of footage of the band in the recording studio/pro tools/songwriting and of course bickering and reconciling.
I'd be interested to see what others thought of it?

I look forward to seeing this one. I may wait for a week or so, I really hate going to movies on crowded opening weekends :sigh:

Just got back from catching this movie. Excellent look at a bunch of human beings who just happen to be in one of metal's biggest bands on the planet.

Touching and funny.. the two hours flew by like it was 2 minutes (but again I am a Metallica fan).

Made me more excited to see them in October... since I have great tickets for the Continental Arena show.

Not much of a crowd at the theater my wife and I went to in Montclair, NJ. In fact the theater they put it in probably only had about 50 seats total, and a lot were empty. Even though this movie is getting great reviews, I believe it has limited appeal to hardcore music fans and/or Metallica fans. The theater may not be as crowded as you might expect.
