I was very tired over the weekend and started thinking about songs in this category.

The Beatles - "I'm So Tired"
The Beatles - "I'm Only Sleeping"
The Kinks - "Tired Of Waiting For You"
Suzanne Vega - "Tired Of Sleeping"
The Diodes - "I'm Tired Of Waking Up Tired" ('70s Canadian punk at its finest)

Was wondering what we could come up with for a comp CD or two or three. :)

Graham Nash -- Another Sleep Song
Billy Joel -- Sleeping with the Television On
    The Kinks/Pretenders -- I Go to Sleep

I don't know that I'd count "Tired of Waiting for You." That's more like "Tired of" in the sense of "Fed up with."

    I certainly hope so!
Don't forget Brahms' Lullaby. I'll throw in Schubert's "Nacht und Traume" (Night & Dreams) for good measure. Can't forget Roy Orbison's "Dream Baby" and "In Dreams". And I'd be an idiot to forget Stevie Nick's "Dreams".

I Go to Sleep - The Kinks, Cher, Peggy Lee (Didi she record it? I heard Ray Davies wrote it with her in mind).
    Sleepy Time Time - Cream
