I don't onow how often this is done, but the classic rock station in Rochester when I was in college did a Blue Oyster Cult 2-fer of Burnin' For You & Don't Fear The Reaper that was just perfect. Reaper's intro guitar coming in over the decaying harmony at the end of Burnin'. It sounded like it was made to be heard like that.

With apologies for diverging from the intent of the thread... I think the Beastie Boys’ “Root Down” and “Sabotage” go together, so I created a two-fer track in iTunes so they always play that way when I shuffle play.

As amazing as this may seem, I put these two tracks back-to-back on one of my mix cassettes played at Chicago POWER home games in 1995. Yes, I ended side A with the full 12" version of TL/WDOLG? (from a Rhino cassette).
After such a depressing ending to side A, I had to find something spectacular to end side B. I think I found it. ;)
But we did not win the game that night. :(

a few that come to mind to me
as mentioned, earlier on post, Beat Goes On/Switchin' to Glide by the Kings. Simply a classic!
Shoo be doo/Candy-O by the Cars
    YYZ/Limelight by Rush
Let Me Out/Your Number or Your Name by the Knack..virtually no break between songs, and if I start side 1 of this album, I always play song #2 without skipping! My brain immediately expects the opening note of Your Number or Your Name
entire Side 1 of Operation Mindcrime by Queensryche!
By Tor and the Snow Dog by Rush (from Fly by Night album) probably considered one song with 3 movements? but it always feels like 3 separate songs when I listen to it
    E5150/Mob Rules by Black Sabbath
Only a Man/The Zoo by The Scorpions from Animal Magnetism album. I love the song "The Zoo" by itself but so many years of either playing the LP or cassette, it has to flow from Only a Man to the Zoo!
