Songs that have same vibe/feel as Crystal Blue Persuasion?

    I've always thought that this was one of the most relaxing, yummy songs ever released, and would love to come up with a comp cd of songs that have the same vibe. I've thought of a few others like "Groovin" by the Young Rascals and "Come To Me" by The Honeys.
    Anyone have any other comparable tunes?

    Tommy James & The Shondells - Crimson and Clover




    Edit: Woops, I just realized that our host also posted a Shondells tune. Oh well. Maybe the OP is looking for another artist who produces that sound.

    Some of the Zombies work is very similar in sound to that of the Shondells.

    Well, I was thinking of it. What's that Tommy James song that has the same chords as CRIMSON? A later one, he's singing something like:

    He probably has been through many phases, what a life! Great dude. Get the 45 RPM Box set, all the mono mixes for cheap. Some really good ones on there.

    The mono hit mix of OUT OF THE BLUE is worth the price of the entire box.

    I have been listening to Tommy James since I was 3, but haven't really delved any deeper than a few comps.
