First things first, we’re not talking cases of songs mentioning their accompanying albums (Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit mentioning Nevermind, for example), I’m after cases where songs mention albums by other artists.

An example therefore would be The Great Valediction by Flop which mentions Live At Leeds by The Who.

Mike Keneally's song "Aglow" mentions the Zappa album "Sheik Yerbouti", last line of verse right before the guitar solo. Here's the last two lines from said verse . . .

"We'll jump through hoops of molten love and fall asleep
We'll wake right up and play side four of Sheik Yerbouti"

Pulp's "Bad Cover Version" references Scott Walker's album "'Til the Band Comes In" in a less-than-enthusiastic way...

Like "Planet of the Apes" on TV
The second side of "'Til the Band Comes In"
Like an own-brand box of cornflakes
He's going to let you down, my friend

...and the Pulp album that the song's on, "We Love Life", was produced by Walker.

Does it count if the album title is from a song off the album?

That Day Is Done mentions Flowers In The Dirt,
I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter mentions Kisses On The Bottom.
    Two albums by Paul McCartney

Also, his Chaos And Creation In The Backyard album almosts gets its titles from two songs on the album, Fine mentions Chaos And Creation and Promise To You Girl mentions Backyard.

The very last song Sandy Denny wrote and recorded is an example of this. It feels wrong posting a link somehow though. The song"s called "Makes me think of you" and I have to assume every word represents 100% the truth of her pretty desperate last weeks with us.
Joni Mitchell's "Blue" is the album in question.

Bill Callahan self-references the album he's singing on (Apocalypse) in the last line of "One Fine Day" the last track. But you won't get it straight away – he sings the catalogue number!!!

Rick Astley on ‘The Good Old Days’ from his last album:
