Traffic, in their Low Spark of High Heeled Boys/Welcome to The Canteen/Shootout at the Fantasy Factory era. Rebop Kwaah Baah played the bongos (I might have the spelling of his name slightly off). He is very prominent on the live Welcome to the Canteen album.

How about in some of the earlier Beatles songs; for example "You're Going to Lose That Girl"?

A whole lot of salsa and Latin jazz music has bongos on it. Machito, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Dizzy Gillespie's Latin jazz music, Fania All Stars, dozens or hundreds of other artists.

    Santana, too.

    I've got a 7" 45rpm copy of "Bongo Party" by The Arrows . . . flip-side is "Blue's Theme"

This should be right up your alley. :agree::agree:

I just thought of another: For Your Love - The Yardbirds. The bongos are very prominent at the very end of the record. Edit: I see I was bit late on this one. Sorry
