Dave Rowberry on the Animals Don't Bring Me Down. It's all about the organ until he brings the piano in just for the turn-around. Small detail but it makes the song for me... that and Hilton using fuzz and tremolo together... prefer Rowberry to Price... he does the unexpected...

The Turtles - Buzzsaw. The organ never fails to send a shiver up my spine, especially the solo at around 1:07

Stellar. Was just "deep listening" to this cut yesterday at reasonably high-volume and the weaving of piano and Hammond was amazing.
For me, vinyl is the way to hear it. CD listening never quite revealed what I was supposed to hear...because I didn't :agree:

Here's some boogie woogie but stick around for the organ which comes in the middle of the song

I thought the solo on "Mellow" was a violin played (by Jean-Luc Ponty) through an organ Leslie.

Here's a band who had one very fine album in 1970 and then were gone.

I never knew that! However, having relistened to it, that would explain a few of the more fluid passages but I have to say that Ponty has clearly tried to play exactly as an organist would (even to the point of using a Leslie) and that kinda negates the whole process for me. Bummer.
In my imagination it's Elton! :D

I thought it was organ for a long time too. Until it occurred to me that the credited violin on the track had to be SOMEWHERE. lol. You can hear Elton playing some simple organ pads underneath it.

It also sounds pretty similar to the violin sound he uses on "Amy"

Songs with Great Piano and Organ Parts... As I am in early-period-of-his
career mood at the present time:

"Darling Be Home Soon" - Joe Cocker, with Chris Stainton on organ and
    Leon Russell on piano.

    The organ makes the song.

Some dolt years ago remixed it for some compilation album omitting the organ, it sounded naked.
