    No dialogue, just studio noise!

Black Sabbath "Lord of This World" - studio door heard in the beginning
Aerosmith "Nobody's Fault" - studio door and papers rustling(?) in the intro
The Beatles "A Day in the Life" - Sound of people getting up and chairs creaking in the ending

Am I the only one who hears a telephone ring in Badfinger's "Day After Day"?

Sympathy For The Devil, control room convo and laughter at the start right before the beginning of the vocal.

I can hear studio sounds, even shuffling movements of band members on quite a few albums if I play high quality digital through my studio monitors in the listening room.

I can think of a couple by Red Hot Chili Peppers where someone quietly counts "one, two, three, four". The Righteous & The Wicked at 10 seconds into it and Slow Cheetah at the beginning. There's also someone cussing at around 2:57 in Hey Jude.

There's also that door close or something dropped on Moody Blue's "For My Lady" which is very noticeable. I think just before the lyrics "set sail before the sun".

Telephone ringing on "The Ocean" by Led Zeppelin. Uncut magazine recently had an "ask Jimmy Page" feature - I asked who was on the line but he couldn't remember.

"Temptation Inside Your Heart" - the 1968 Velvet Underground track on VU.
Lots of chatter from Lou and Sterling as they were recording their vocals and didn't realise that the mics were still on during the instrumental breaks, so you hear comments like "it's not that bad a solo".

The Bobby Bare/Shel Silverstein album "Lullabys, Legends & Lies" (1972, RCA.) Intended, and great fun. Bobby Bare´s best album, I think.

I referenced that album on here last week, I'm pleasantly surprised others know about it. :righton:

Paul McCartney "Mr. Bellamy" - the shutter sound of a photographer taking a picture.

Syd Barrett "If it's in you" - Syd turning a page.

The Beatles "A Day In The Life" - during the last chord: chairs squeaking, air condition noise

Lots of Beach Boys, chatter wasn't always edited out of the instrumental sections of some songs.

Me as well; even on the single I played into the ground when I was very young... just goes to show that they have higher frequencies ranges than CD, I suppose... :shh:

I've heard that song a million times and never noticed it. Where is it in the song?

Stones, "Beast of Burden" is the one that jumps to mind. Not sure what it is, exactly.

    Glenn Gould's chair.

Incidentally, that would be a great name for a band... ;)

At the end of "Heaven and Hell" by the Who, you can hear a glass breaking.

The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds, "I Know There's and Answer" - Brian says "top please" into a talkback mic at the beginning of the instrumental solo section. For years I thought it was someone going "whoop". It's been fixed in the new stereo mix, they also isolated the talkback mic on the Pet Sound Sessions box set. I could also hear bias leak on the same song during the choruses on the original mono mix.
