I'm almost certain that no-one else would've posted this, so:

The whistler - Bora Karaca - is a close friend of the band, and appears in various capacities - including more whistling - across their two albums and various side projects.

That was the first one that came to mind, even before John Lennon's original. Pedantic alert - Bryan Ferry solo I believe.

Also, Neil Young's 'Walk Like A Giant' has an entire Horse whistlin' along.

    Cheers, SLuggy

Damn, I thought I had a great one but someone beat me to it.

I'll second Billy Joel and "The Strangler".

So much promise in this song, what a shame he had to die.

Elis Regina & Antonio Carlos Jobim - Águas de Março

The wonderful Tom Jobim song from the beautiful '74 Philips album "Elis & Tom".
A very simple tune with a call and response pattern; delightful, but sophisticated, and so effortlessly sung and played.

In 1967, this whistling novelty song was a top 5 hit in different parts of the world and #20 in the Billboard chart.

Yea -- mine was Cakewalk into Town as well but you beat me to it. It was the first song that popped into my head.
