This is a great pick because there are so many different versions and segments, including countless creative fan mixes out there. Lately, I've been really digging the live-in-the-studio take from the Sunshine Tomorrow set, a more restrained, mellow version.

When I saw this thread title, I naturally tended to think of longer tracks that it is already easy to get lost in, like Zappa's "Dupree's Paradise", King Crimson's "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part 1", Can's "Pinch" or "One More Night". John Martyn has some great jams in this vein too, like "I'd Rather Be The Devil", "Outside In" and "Big Muff", as does his Island label-mates Traffic (like "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys"). Another one that I love to bliss out to is Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross"--it's like a natural sedative after a stressful day.

Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Such a sad song but what amazing Lyrics. It makes me feel as if I'm on the boat with those doomed sailors.

A/K/A "Rhubarb", correct? Fantastic track. I think a lot of work from Aphex Twin/AFX is genius, and fits into this thread nicely

Fortunately it's 11 minutes long, so it takes a while to find your way out

I've described it before as "I think my bones are melting, but in a good way"

I think All Too Well is the best example of a Taylor Swift tune to get lost in.
