Sonny Rollins -Way Out West

I'm curious, Steve, why? Especially since it should be the same mastering on both the gold CD and the redbook layer on the SACD.

Could I assume that for those with an SACD player that you'd recommend the SACD?

Gold reflective layers, or so I've read, are less prone to data errors than aluminum. This true?

 

By the way, Acoustic Sounds new-release email lists Sonny Rollins Plus 4 sacd as being in stock. I’ve seen expected release dates of 2/25/03 and even 4/22/03, so please tell me this is no email goof! I’d post a link, but their server seems to be down at the moment.
