IIRC, they have, in fact, discounted the Mono Box on Vinyl once already via Pop Market, so yes, it could totally be that again!

Yes, this is TOTALLY normal process for them. In almost all cases, you still get your product, but it does normally read "Sold Out" no matter what. Read back in the early pages of the first part of the thread for details... this has happened to nearly everyone who has bought from them, but we all do usually wind up getting the product. Just don't ask Customer Service for any help -- they won't give you any.

I'd be interested in seeing how much they might put a mono Bob vinyl box out at. We will find out in 8 hours!

My order status for the Hendrix Box changed to "Pre-ordered. In Stock, ships within 1-2 business days". So that's encouraging news I think.

 

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Bob Dylan Archive (Box of Vision).

Yeah, that's a good sign. Just don't hold your breath waiting for a shipping notice, as those appear to be fairly hit and miss... a lot of buyers upthread said the stuff just SHOWED UP one day.

I got up early to check what the Dylan offer was. Disappointed as I hoped for a mono vinyl set. Oh well back to bed!

Good set. Too bad it's been around for absolutely ages and pretty much anyone that has any interest in it already has it. The Voice's Columbia work can also be a pretty hard slog if your used to the more modern Capitol and Reprise material.

I finally had a chance to unpack the Miles box last night. Very nice. Sony did a nice job. As a former trumpet player, the mouthpiece looks and feels legit (i.e., not a toy).

 

Dang, well, at least now I know that I may eventually get my Hendrix box. Ordered 7/14...
