    I got all of that. I believe Seth is high up, perhaps some of those issues are unknown on their end so direct feedback might be a better option in the long run and useful to bring some needed change to their business. But it was just a suggestion. You do you.

    I didn’t really have a negative or positive opinion about the shipping. I just don’t order enough from them but I went ahead and used the coupon for the Way Out West Sonny Rollins reissue. Took $20 off. Hadn’t planned on getting it but the coupon swayed me.

    Yeah, they obviously have some issues. I wish everyone else here who order from them luck in getting their items shipped in a timely manner.

    i'm having an issue with them right now too - nearing two weeks on an item that is supposed to ship in 3-5 days.
    what a bummer! they have been awesome in the past.

    more troubling is if you click the Email an inquiry about this order link it is broken (I tried with both safari and chrome). I will actually feel fortunate if i get the record or my money back.

    I couldn’t get that link to work either but I did finally receive my order after a month. I did use the live contact message a couple times to inquire about my order and that worked although it didn’t help my records arrive any sooner but at least somebody was able to let me know it would probably be 5-10 more days on a couple occasions when I asked. I also tried sending a couple emails to their other contacts and had no response from those. On a positive note my records were packed extremely well and I was very happy with them. If they told me up front that they didn’t actually have the records ready to ship and it would be about a month before I received them it wouldn’t have been so bad but when they promise 3-5 days and you have to go out of your way to find out what’s going on it’s a little frustrating. Oh well now I know what to expect if I order again...

    I stopped using them long ago. Speaking only for me, after a couple of issues with them, I just simply go elsewhere. To many other options to have to deal with issues. Obviously other people might have better luck with them.

    Used to use them but lately even their available stock is not up to par with the other major online retailers. Not sure what is up with them but they used to be my go to- not so much in the past year.

    They did get back to me when I asked for a status update by emailing
    sales@soundstagedirect.com and a sales representative promptly refunded me. But, she told me it was going to be another 1-2 weeks after I already waited 2 weeks. Personally, I will give them another chance in the near term future, but I hope they can be more transparent in the future when things are backordered.

    Yep! Ordered two LP's the beginning of February. Waited 14 days; finally got an update that the Sade LP was awaitng repress with no promise date. No word on the second LP (ZZ Top Eliminator). Sent email in response to cancel entire order. Got a response back from a "Tara" saying; no problem, she would take care of it. Checked my account with them a couple days later ... order canceled. Only problem, they still have not credited my credit card account. Email sent tonight ... we'll see. Fingers crossed!

    Just wanted to updated. Got a response from Mary at SSD apologizing, and to let me know that my account has been credited. Sure enough, same response from PayPal shortly there after. Works for me!

    A recent order from March 6th arrived yesterday (26 days). Good records and packed well. Here is my take. They don't stock records. They seem to be a clearing house. Everything I ordered was marked as " ships in 3-7 business days" If your orders contains something they can't get right away your order goes into limbo. This is mostly due to their shipping policy. The reply to where is my order email is below.

    One of the items you ordered, Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits, has been delayed by the manufacturer and should be reaching us early next week. Processing times are approximately how long it takes for an item to arrive in our warehouse from the record company. This information can be found below the Add to Cart button on each product page. We usually ship orders as a whole unless you request otherwise. The following info regarding order splits can be found on the check out page:

    On any order containing multiple items, the approximated shipping date is subject to the longest listed time for any item within the order, including pre-orders and awaiting repress items. If you would prefer to split your order, you may be subject to additional shipping charges.

    If you'd like to split the shipment, there would be a charge of $5.34 to do so. We do not keep credit card info on file so we'd need to email an invoice or you may give us a call with your card number. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.     I only order from Barnes & Noble now. I can catch them on sale and get a much better deal. When something is not in stock they ship the original order and then they ship the backorder later at their cost. Always free shipping if a member. Well worth the price and no hassle. Something goes wrong take the product into the local store and they give you your money back.. soundstage just wore me out

    I just ended up switching to Music Direct for all my vinyl related purchases and It has been a great overall experience with them!

    I have ordered from Soundstage Direct a few times and processing times are very long. I placed my most recent order which is I have spent $100.00 on just over 4 weeks ago and the order is still processing. I have bought many items on the internet before and this is by far the longest I have ever waited for anything to be processed much less shipped. I believe they will eventually get it shipped out because they always have but it just takes so long. I will say however that they do package and ship everything very nicely and professionally.

    I have orders going back to March! They are not responding to my recent emails. Used to be my go to source, but now I am told items are out of stock after 3 months of waiting and then I go and find it in a local store. I hope they get their act together. I have probably $500. of LPs I am (foolishly?) waiting for. Wonder if Seth is even with the company.

    Yeah, something is up. I'm having issues. No response to email, and a call today was answered by a messaging service who said they would call back. When I asked when, they said they couldn't say. I said, "so, like, one hour or one week?" and they basically didn't answer.

    Oh, and they don't have a chat option anymore.

    Yeah, it's been 2 weeks and no credit to my paypal yet. I'm supposed to hear something by Monday (PayPal gives sellers 10 days to respond to a claim).

    No excuse not to be able to issue a refund within a day or so of sending you an email saying you would be credited. Either someone "forgot" or they don't have enough cash on hand. Either is unacceptable. This was a $5k turntable.

    Nice or not, I would absolutely not even think of doing any business with them again.
