I have a couple of stumpers that have turned up on an air check tape. They obviously got some air play in May 1969 but have eluded Shazam and Soundhound and Google thus far. The songs can be found at 12:43 and 33:35 of the latest sound clip added below. Section may take time to upload fully. Clip is at bottom of page:

The first one is "The Uninhibited Bicycle Rider" by The Two Mile Pike:

I've found a version of the second song, but it doesn't seem like the same artist:

I've found a song by the same name with the same "Allen" writing credit by the Strawberry Street Singers, from 1968, but it doesn't seem to be on YouTube.

Thanks for the help Tord and Badjack. Some of the mystery is solved but the you tube posted for the second song has a message "the video is not available"

Bah. That version is by the Three Ring Circus, if that's any help. I still can't find any audio of the Strawberry Street Singers' version but at least we have some circumstantial evidence.

This is likely it for the second song. I listened to a few other tracks by the Strawberry Street Singers and they sound like an even poppier version of the Peppermint Rainbow. I will give you gents the credit on the web page for ID'ing the tracks
