I find myself currently in need of a new pair of bi-wire speaker cables. Current ones are too short.

My current system is Clearaudio Concept w MC cart into a MS Phonomena into a Rega Elicit-R. Speaker are Totem Forest.

I'd like something that is wallet-friendly but still quality matched to the rest of my system.

I've been looking at Blue Jean cable, SignalCable, and not sure what else. It needs to be pretty flexible, so I think solid core is out of the question, since I run these wires through conduits in my walls.

Please leave the "get home depot wires / lamp cable for $2" comments out of here.

    Thanks!

The only parameter that is interesting is the area You need, I was going to suggest a solid core wire AWG 12, but it will be stiff. But a multi-strand 12AWG might be ok, also AWG 13.

Double run of Wireworld Luna 1 or Oasis 7 if you want one cable. Nothing better I know of for the money. I am comparing to Audioquest Slate, Canare 4S11, low-end JPS, XLO.

Kind of a smart ass attitude for someone asking for help don't you think?

Anyway, speaker cables begin on page 30; there is also a couple of models suggested for short run "hi-fi" use on page 68

This is some of the nicest wire that money can buy, at any price:

Not at all ... threads like this seemingly always degenerate into wars about whether differences can be heard between extension cord cable (for a buck or 3) and Kimber or what have you. He also said 'Please' ...

Easy there Analogman. I did NOT start off with that comment, please reread the OP, it is the last thing I said (besides Thanks). I did not want this thread derailing into a shouting match between two opposing views. But clearly this is already derailing because of your commenting on my OP.

    Back on topic:
A bit over my budget but I've been reading about Analysis Plus Oval 12s. Anyone tried them?

Kimber 8VS would fit in your price. 8TC would be close.

I've mentioned an option which meets and exceeds your stated requirements

Another poster did said same with the suggestion of Canare cable: equally high quality and fits the bill, with many choices and options (configurations)

No "shouting match" here; why not simply through out the names of the cables you are already (obviously) considering and let the comments flow from there?

You also failed to mention that you are interested in "ready made" re-branded wire

The "what about this" game can go on longer than any of the "shouting matches" you alluded to and prove as equally unproductive

I don't think your assistance is required in this thread, Analogman.

Interesting. What sort of conduit is this? What's the inside diameter? You said 8 foot pair, biwire.

I have these plastic conduits I had the builder install before they put on the drywall. The speaker conduits (2" diameter I think) run horizontally in my wall which come out of a recessed plate. Makes my set up look nice and tidy.

Like how many people run in-wall wired for in-wall speakers or wall-mounted TVs.

My speakers are 8 feet apart, a wall mounted floating shelf holds up my integrated amp, phono stage, PS4, and a few other stuff.

I'll look into it, but I don't think Blue Oval is bi-wireable.
