I need some isolation disks to protect my hardwoods. My speakers have spikes already. What are some favorites?

I bought some inexpensive ones from China on eBay, and they are quite good. Heavier than I expected!

As a speaker spike support ,i have to give the nod to the looney...smaller,but structural integrity is superior....but the bear on the tooney!!..c'mon.

That looks more like a Giant Sloth than a Bear.

I use Herbie's Audio Lab stainless steel cone/spike decoupling gliders. Widened soundstage and tightened bass also the ease of moving my speakers when needed.

As the OP I never expected the 40 cent answer. As functional as nickels may be I wouldn’t mind something engineered for the task.

Look on Amazon. Search cone or spike pads. Sound Anchor will sell you theirs for $20 a piece. But you could buy entire kits that include spikes for that much on Amazon.

I've been using a some Magic Slider pads from Herbie's Audio Lab and they make adjusting speakers much easier than with my previous pads that stuck to the floor (granted the speakers and sand filled stands are at least 80 pounds). They haven't marked my 1950 hardwoods.

You people must be rich. Eight 50 cent pieces are going to cost $4. I use pennies. Cost me a whole 8 cents.

I use #6 washers from the hardware store so they are perfectly centered.

Just brought some Soundcare Superspikes for my Audionote stands Target R4 stands- they are quite expensive, however they make moving a speaker a breeze, look cool and tighten sound up in a most pleasing manner.:righton:
