‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ Creator Stephen Hillenburg Reveals ALS Diagnosis
This is terrible.
I watched so many episodes of this show with my kids. And they still refer to things that happened on this show. This is sad.
Having 3 kids, 15 years separating the oldest and youngest, SpongeBob is part of my family and will continue to be so particularly considering my youngest just turned 2 on Sunday. I'm a big fan of Patrick.
Sad news indeed, all 3 of my kids have grown up with this from ages 7-24.
Missed this news, sad to hear about Stephen, terrible...
I had a friend who was diagnosed with this. What a terrible fate for him and his family.
Life can be so cruel.
Very sad news for such a great talent. Stay strong, Stephen!
Very sad. He's brought so many smiles to my life. I wish him all the best.
Why are all the other SpongeBob threads closed?
I have a big spool of discs bought at a garage-sale
I wouldn't wish ALS on my worst enemy. So sad to hear this.
My brother in law died of ALS, and it is a truly terrible way to go.
