Springsteen sold at Costco

Noticed the LP and CD sold at Costco. (Probably the book too, but I didn't check)
LP $24.99
CD $10.99

 

I bought the LP there tonight at the Costco by me. I haven't opened it, yet. The book was there, too, for $17.50. There was a separate display for the CD, LP and book at the one I was at. The employees that checked me out did a double take when I gave them the LP. They don't recall ever seeing LP's for sale in store. It's been awhile since I've seen even music CD's for sale there.

 

Bruce is on the over of the Costco Connection magazine this month, with a short piece about the book included. I assumed that meant the book would be in the store, but I'm surprised the LP and CD are as well.

Another sign of the Vinyl Resurrection...!!!

 

I'd be so happy to see music sold at Costco I'd buy all three! My closest Costco hasn't stocked any cds for several years, even the DVD/Blu-ray titles are extremely limited, and the prices are usually better on Amazon.

 

My wife bought me the book at Costco last night, she didn't say anything about the LP but did say there was a cd.

 

Maybe the Rolling Stones Cuba packages will sold later?

 

I picked up the LP. My store only had 2 copies. I wasn't sure I even wanted it or if it was any good or even a good price, but I figured I could return it later if I wanted.

It definitely got the once over by both of the Costco folks at the register.

 

And CDs and books, too!

 

I guess hoping to see the Mono Rolling Stones Box Set at Costco was Overly optimistic ....
