Why Lando is not in? i assume they are saving him for episode 8.

 

This shot to me reminds me so much of the old trilogy. Even the costume choices (retro sci-fi look!) tell me this isn't going to look like a Michael Bay movie.

 

they did not need to show all the other stuff ! they just needed that last little bit as the trailer !

This new one has zero expression on its face. I wasn't sure if I had my heart warmed by that last bit or if it felt a little cheap. Not sure.....

 

I'll still traumatized by Jar Jar Binks and didn't bother with the 2 after that, but looking forward to this already.

One of Andy Serkis' stipulations would be that Gollum would have a cameo..

Wow the original Chewie looks so much more real. The new one looks like a guy wearing a mask, at least in that shot.

 

Anyone notice the echoed voice after each Luke line in the trailer? Who is that? The new bad guy?

 

The lighting in the two Han and Chewie pics aren't even close. Can't really compare.

 

Hard to tell, such a short clip. I don't see the mercenary gleam in his eye. He sounds more like the Han from Jedi than Empire.

Is the droid really called "BB-8"--as in a brass BB? That's kinda dumb!

 

Oh, I don't know, I think BB-8 is adorable.

I've read that BB-8's design is based on Ralph McQuarrie's original sketching for R2D2 from 1975.

I never even noticed that guy, and I've watched this thing about 50 times.

Also, I guess that's the new Imperial flag? Sort of updated, to make it appear more hip to the youth of Coruscant?

 

That's how I sort of felt about Vader at the end of Revenge Of The Sith. He had on the same suit that he wears in the OT; you can't tell me that they couldn't have made some improvements over the years, especially with that technology.

 

Also, in the shot of Finn (the stormtrooper who seems to play a huge role in this movie, along with Daisy Ridley), taking off his helmet, it looks like he has a bloody handprint on it.
