DCC Archive Steve Gaines "One in the Sun" CD/LP

    Hello everyone,

    I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this release from MCA in 1988 (MCAD-42154)??

    I have a copy of the CD and LP, but neither have much information about the recordings.

    I have always been curious about this release, but I have never heard it mentioned anywhere. Any information would be appreciated.

    Tony, it does not look like anyone knows about this release. I remember that it can out after the Skynyrd crash. It may have been thrown togeather by someone to captilaize on the publicity. But that's about it, I'm afraid..... from what I remember!

    I have the vinyl - is the CD worth getting?

    This seems as great and obscure as Randy California!

    I bought the only copies that I have ever had in my hands (one cd and one lp). I have seen a few on ebay, and it seems like there were two slight variations on the cover.

    I tend to listen to my LP more, but I have never compared the sound quality of the two formats.

    There is just something special about placing a needle in the groove!!
