Steve H-any preferences for cd-r discs

    Steve H-any particular cd-r disc you prefer for transfer to disc.

    We used to use the good Sony ones (about 5 years ago), but now we just use HHB Pro discs. They seem to work fine for us in the studio. Never had a dud yet!

    great now i can get some good cd-r's.have bought some recently that are just garbage-yeah i threw them away.

    Rumor has it that HHB CDRs are made by Mitsui.

    BTW, I've been using Kodak CDRs, the ony manufacturer to use actual gold as the reflective layer instead of silver (imost gold cdrs besides Kodaks are actually just a gold dye or lacquer). Anyways, silver oxidizes, gold doesn't.

    Hint: You can get Kodak Gold's on Kodak's website for a really great price.
