Still no Blu-Ray release for

    THE COMMITMENTS!!!!!! Jeezus, how great would this title be with a 5 (or 7).1 uncompressed soundtrack?! I realize it must be a music rights issue as Fox used to use this movie as a tent-pole title. ie they would use it in check-lanes, promos ads etc. Also one of the first Fox titles to be a 'Special Edition' DVD. I really want my Blu!!

    Hell to the yeah! Though I admit I'm not sure it "needs" to be on BD - seriously, it's a great film, but it's not exactly a visual epic...

  17. Literally, tens of thousands of movies. Each next iteration of home video has lost thousands of unique movies, going back to the VHS era. It was so much cheaper to release a DVD than Blu-ray that a lot of lesser films never made the jump.
