Stones Box Set On The Horizon

Hope this isn't old news...it's not for me...but from what I just read in MoJo there is to be a large Rolling Stones boxed set to be released soon from Sony. It will contain all their releases from 1971-79 with tons of unreleased material including 15 live CDs.

Check out the tunes on this baby. I guess I may have to sell a car or something to be able to afford one! It's got to be expensive.

Anyone heard any more on this...Luke?

Are you sure about the years 1971-74? That sounds like an awfully short time period for so many CDs.

I read this same (or similar) list a few months back. The bottom line - it was a fan's SUGGESTED tracklisting, nothing has been officially announced. Givin the Stones disdain for remixing live stuff (Jagger quote circa '76 concerning "Love You Live" - "I don't know how you feel, but listining to 30 hours of Rolling Stones live recordings is NOT my idea of a good time"), I highly doubt that SO MUCH material would be approved at once.
