Based on my experience it seems they have dealers here in the US that work directly with AN in the UK.

I like the Apple finish as well. I have them in satin. Sometimes when I’m going out the door in the morning I’ll catch them out of the corner of my eye and think “damn, that’s a nice speaker.” Am I right? The HG is definitely quite striking too.

You're definitely right--they look great! Nice stands. Are the white parts bricks?

Yup, limestone bricks from the hardware store plus some Ikea cutting boards. It was a cheap solution and it doesn’t look half bad haha.

This has got me excited for my Apple AN-Es that'll be arriving in the next week or two! Thanks for the photos.

Saw this on AN's facebook page

The man with the golden ears, otherwise known as Damien Quintard, is recording Beethoven's 7th with Maestro Teodor Currentzis at Wiener Konzerthaus... and he's chosen a pair of our AN-E/SPe HE 'speakers as monitors. We can't wait to hear the results!

How many of those units were actually involved in that performance?

PQ: "Andy Whittle, who fills two position in the company, sales manager primarily, but who is also a pretty sharp speaker engineer, ex-Rogers, Mordaunt Short and Celestion, felt that we could make a 10-inch version of the AN-E more easily, so that is what we decided to do, the three-way development is ongoing as well, but it has a longer time horizon, so in the meantime he felt we could perhaps try a combination of a 10-inch woofer and a dome tweeter, I have no doubt that this project will take less time and cost a great deal less than redeveloping the Type C design given we have to develop three new drivers for that."

PQ: "Apart from the new TT Three models we are working on a new pre-amplifier circuit which will revolutionize the sound of line pre-amplifiers. A new all-silver ultimate mains cable, the SOOTTO Mains, a cheaper MC cartridge below the IoI, and an R2R ladder DAC, we are also close to finishing a 32 and a 48-step attenuator with solid silver contacts, a competitively priced EL34 integrated amplifier, and one or two other things!"

Some interesting prospects. Has anyone heard anything about this 10-inch AN-E they're playing with? Sounds like they're putting more near-term focus on that model than the Type C redesign.

The lower cost MC cartridge would also be a welcomed addition given the giant leap in price from IQ3 to IOI.

That's over two and a half years ago, I have to wonder how many of those ideas have since been tabled.

I'm sure AN UK's El34 integrated would be better then the competition, but I have to wonder if the world needs another EL34 integrated.

The SOOTTO mains cable and the stepped attenuators. The new TT3 maybe October and the rest is unknown.

    A couple of years ago I couldn’t have conceived giving up my remote controlled amp so I was waiting for the “Cobra”, AN’s anticipated new integrated EL34;

“Demonstrated at a few Hi-Fi Shows now (in its early form), to say that the new Cobra amplifier from Audio Note has gone down a storm is an understatement. Available later this year, the 25wpc Class A EL34 amplifier, will be the first in a family of affordable and exceptional power amplifiers. With optional DAC module (additional cost), optional remote control (additional cost) and a price coming in under £2,000, the Cobra is sure to be very popular, delivering a level of musicality and involvement that Audio Note is famously renowned for.”

“Later this year” came and went and my patience didn’t hold out (fortunately) but the music from the Oto SE Sig I bought instead is definitely worth getting off the couch for. As I’ve also moved back to CDs from NAS streaming, I get lots more exercise now, Thanks AN!

I think you are able to place an order already. The first batch of TT-3 should ship to happy owners any week now. At least that is what my dealer said last week.

A little video on the drivers from SEAS (Scandinavian Electro Acoustics Systems) which AN uses for the woofers.

I have sent out all orders from the time of September, since which time I had a lot of problems with hospitalation. If there are any SH forum members, who have not received something, please PM me. If there is anyone who is supremely happy with what they received, please expound here. :pineapple: :goodie: :wiggle:
