if it sounds good, then sit back, and listen. i am in the reliability camp, i have had better sounding TT's, but or ME, and what i need, these old warhorses are a revelation. no belts, no BS, just drop wax, and slap the on button, and it plays amazing music, or gut wrenching guttural metal every time, and i need not worry about anything except where my next beer is coming from, as long as i don't fall asleep, and wake up at 5 am with the sucker still spinning the in grooves for the past 5 hours. only thing i miss is auto stop.....

Update: I'm now using a Kenwood KP 1100 turntable and the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon has since been sold. This reminds me I need to sell the Phono Box!

    I have a Technics SL-1210 M5G, but it doesn't see a lot of use.

I have a stock (for now) Rega RP6 in my primary rig and a Sony PS 11 as part of my secondary system in my home office. Looking to change out the Sony as I'm getting bored with it lol

Rega Rp6 with Groovetracer upgrades so it's probably like a Rega Rp 12. Love it!

How you like the upgrade? I've been considering it. Did you do the counterweight and/or the record weight along with it?

I was surprised at how few SOTA's. They have a model at most price points. I realize that they don't have many dealers these days.

My most recent turntable adventure is an SP-10 that I bought new in 1973. It has been restored, undergone the Krebs modification and re-plinthed, now awaiting a primary arm:[IMG]IMG_0523 by bill hart, on Flickr
This is part of a vintage system using Quad Loudspeakers (also purchased in 1973), Quad II amps and an McI MX 110z (all freshly restored, re-glassed, etc.).

My main system uses this table, which I've had since around 2006 or 7. It is not the first Kuzma I have owned.

Update: I've traded in the Concept Wood for a Technics SL-1200G. The Concept was very good, but the Technics is a big step up, particularly for the price. I'm very pleased with it. :agree:
