Guess I haven't posted anything in this poll before, but the count is at five now (I think), though probably could say that only three are actually in use right now ...

    Technics SL-10 (in storage)
    Micro Seiki DD-10 (in refurbishment)
    Micro Seiki DD-40 (in use)
    Thorens TD 320 (in use)
    Clearaudio Avantgarde (in use)

Technics (SL-1700MK3) w/ Denon DL110. I made the mistake of buying a $700 Rega a couple years ago. Pretty white turntable, except that it's as durable as a souffle. First time I changed the cartridge the ridiculously thin blue wire snapped. I've changed cartridges many dozens of times on 40+ year old turntables and only had that happen on a brand new Rega.

I've been looking at some of the 80's Marantz turntables but I think for the money you can't beat an SL-1700. The last great, durable and reliable automatic turntable under $500. Best of all, you can get one fairly easily in perfect condition for significantly less than a mint condition SL1200 variant. The only reason to get a 1200 over a 1700 is for DJing purposes.

The SL-10 was my first turntable. AT440 and various Grado cartridges give the Denon 110 a run for its money, but the 110 is quite sharp looking, durable, and all around easy to match.

I suppose I'll be using this Audio-Technica turntable now, since I just found it today at a thrift store in excellent condition for a great price (I even talked them down by $5!)

I believe these are supposed to be rather nice turntables?

That turntable will play records. I would not play any records that I own on it.

Last time I looked we needed to get Michell into double figures - so adding a Gyro SE/Michell TechnArm......

Also a semi-retired Rega Planar 3 from the early 80s - not the new one.
