That's what makes it cool: Not so much "See how cool I am!" as "It's understood...nothing to prove here".

As much as I love Pulp Fiction I have to vote for Django Unchained. Just love that film!

What do you value in Django over QT's other better-written and acted films?

I love all his films, but top 3 is definitely:

    1a. Pulp Fiction
    1b. Inglorious Basterds
    3. Jackie Brown

Love the characters. Leo. Jamie & Sam. I find it quite tense as well. Just really worked for me.

Agreed- you could hear the silence at the cinema watching that scene- fantastic acting/producing.

This one was a no-brainer for me. Pulp Fiction.

It is like several movies in one. And the time distortion is fabulous. And, being a hi-fi nut, well, you know...

And that is One Fine Burger!

I confess I could do without the pawn shop scene.

In Japan yeah, it lists all the differences to the US version on IMDB, quite a lot cut actually, lots of extra blood and a few added scenes in the Japanese version.

The DVD is out of print now on websites but it’s still on eBay.

Yeah. “Honey bunny” “What? Do you speak it”. “Cool like Fonzie” “this gold watch”. THAT was a great script!

Jackie Brown is his best film.

Pulp Fiction is always entertaining. I might tie it with Hollywood.

The rest are good, but I do get bored watching them

Jackie Brown is excellent but I miss the Tarantino frenzy in that film. It might have been made by Steven Soderberg.

I selected Kill Bill 1 because I think it's a little more over the top and entertaining, but I do love Pulp Fiction just as much, and it does have my favourite scene, the car scene when it hits a bump. When I saw it in the cinema's I laughed uncontrollably for a good ten minutes, while everyone else in the cinema were quiet and seemed a little shocked.

There’s nothing in that film I find redeeming, nothing, even SLJ over the top performance.
