Always a bittersweet viewing tradition at this time of the year. Too damn many passings.

A much better put together version of what the academy attempts to do during the Oscars.
Just be sure not to die after Dec 10th or you get screwed.

As so many are lost each year, I always wonder who will fill the void.

I did not know about Martha Hyer but will be clearing an evening soon to properly view "The Best Of Everything".

Agreed, and there are still 10 days left in 2014, so hopefully a revision will not be in order. This year sure has been a real bummer where the grim reaper is concerned....

TCM has been screening some timeless classics over the last few weeks and I've been watching, remembering those great irreplaceable stars and personalities.

Joan Fontaine, "The Constant Nymph" - WOW!!!

Brings a tear to my eye when I watch these, so many pass by every year not only in the film industry but music as well.
