Didn't vote for 2 , I Believe & Listen . Such a great album . Even though - Everybody Wants to Rule the World
has been killed by radio/tv and advertising it still holds up .

The first four and Broken. Fan-TASTIC 80s classic! :righton:

Are you sure this is a regular on best of 80s? I've almost never seen it, certainly not ahead of Big Chair.

Yes, I think so, could check NME and Rolling Stone (and be corrected) but usually I see it quite high. That's why I polled this one, I think generally it could be higher placed, also Upstairs At Eric's.

    Shout?

    Shout?

    Let it on out?

I voted for all the songs, but my favorites are "Shout", "The Working Hour", "Broken/Head Over Heels".

That's for sure, this album (both, actually) often gets dismissed as 80s kitsch when it's quite simply amazing music, regardless of the era.

Probably the only album I bought in 1985 that I still play from beginning to end. I’m pleased to see the non singles get some love. There really isn’t a track on here I don’t like and it’s so well sequenced. I’m not sure any of those involved in making it have ever topped it. Credit to Ian Stanley for some great keyboard work and Manny Elias for some great drumming too!

Now spinning: my original LP of this great album.

Don't need no stinking 180g slab of wax!
