John Connor being a quasi-Terminator if more of the same? I disagree. It looks awesome!

She is one of the leads on Game of Thrones and the main GoT director is directing this. She actually does a credible imitation of Linda Hamilton's voice but you're right, she projects a very different physical image than Hamilton did, even in 1984 when she was more delicate looking.

Why would they spoil a huge twist in the trailer? I'm going to assume there will be other twists to make up for it.

How is John Connor a terminator?? That makes no sense...

Also that's a really big twist to give away in the trailer. I think they could have kept it secret.

My guess is that it is a red herring of sorts.

Last I heard regarding the BIG DAMN SPOILER :( was that apparently the movie is testing extremely poorly and so the decision was made to dump it all out on the lawn with the new trailer in hopes of encouraging interest.

    Sad, very sad.

Who's next? Sarah Connor being a terminator? The producers are lacking creativity here, why not continuing salvation?.

Again i'm gonna watch it of course but after watching that trailer my expectations are not high.

Cause some other guy was a terminator in that, and apparently that's not okay anymore. :p

Judging something with little or no exposure to it seems to be a requirement at this forum. I'm amazed at how often it continues to happen.

    You're right, and that's unfortunate.

I see it differently. It's human nature to speculate, and the fewer the details, the more the speculation. As long as people don't make absolute declaritive statements as if they were facts, then I don't see the problem.

Like the one being referenced? "I feel they really screwed themselves with this movie." Seems absolute and declarative...

No one is saying, "This movie is crap."

Some of us have been saying, "This movie looks like crap." Big difference there, and totally valid.

He still qualified it by saying he "feels" it will be bad. That's speculative.

I don't know about this... this may be as bad as what they did to the ALIEN series...
