I think the new trailer is very interesting. My only question is about revealing too much. But it looks great.

Changed the thread title to include the (now known) name of the movie. Carry on...

Update: And have now even spelled it correctly thanks to @Encuentro. :)

Saw the trailer for it last night and it's starting to look better.

I think I agree.....the nemesis being revealed does take some surprise out of the movie. I thought the same thing about Face Off; I saw it with no idea about the plot, and thought it was fun. Eventually I read the back of the movie... I saw it on demand or something like that....and felt that reading it would have diminished the effect of the movie.
Oh well ...hopefully some folks will still be surprised when they see it.

  5. Interesting trailer although giving away the big reveal in the trailer isn't the smartest thing IMHO. It's an example of lazy trailer making...

Someone said earlier in the thread that the rumor is that the film has been testing really poorly, so they decided to spoil the big plot twist in the trailer to try and entice people in to seeing it.

That's what I heard; the same person that brought that up (on another forum) also mentioned this "twist" is in the first 20 minutes of the film, so maybe not such a big twist after all!

This looks pretty good to me. Reminds me a little of T2.

Mark my words, this is going to be like World War Z: great pedigree, very troubled production, awful buzz, and then everyone is going to be surprised that it's decent. I don't expect it will be anywhere near as successful as WWZ, but it'll make some money internationally.

Is it just me, or are T1-T3 essentially the same story line, with some little tweaks to keep it interesting. I love T1 and T2, but by T3 it got old and I had no interest in T$, I mean T4. This new one looks like a similar type of cat/mouse action chase movie. Might be entertaining, but I think this is the last time the bucket will bring anything out of the well...

I think if you take T4 for what it is, its good.

I enjoyed it even though people said it was not very good.

Salvation was pretty good as a stand-alone movie, it was a much better film than T3 which was a haphazard mess.

Looks tired. We've literally seen this all before.

I had a much more interesting idea for a Terminator movie than this. It's amazing the regurgitated crap that Hollywood spews these days - this thing looks to be the cinematic equivalent of the Coach or Full House reboots tee vee is planning to make...

I will probably check it out when it comes On Demand. I've seen the others. Might as well.
