when I saw this announced on Netflix I thought it was going to be great!
a nice treat for us...: ) I will add this to my Christmas collection as well...

Best part of the movie. And apparently that is Kurt singing.

Liked it. Always fun to see Kurt Russell and Little Steven

 

Just watched this one and I loved it. The whole film had that classic 80's movie vibe and feels like a tribute to John Hughes, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis and Joe Fante. There's even a perfect tribute to Star Trek IV. The soundtrack by Christophe Beck is also a tribute to the American Soundtrack big guns of the 80's, John Williams and Alan Silvestri. Everything was spot on, from the casting to the set design (the North Pole sequence looks fabulous). I also dug Santa's suit a lot.

The cherry on top is, of course, Kurt Russel's performance. It was perfect!

My only criticism is that the film would have been more fun seen on a giant screen. But that's Netflix for ya.
