The Beatles in Australia 1964-2004
To celebrate the Beatles one and only Australian tour 3AW/Magic 693 and Shot and
Framed Pty Ltd is pleased to present a unique concert/film experience of the
Beatles in Australia.

The Beatles toured Australia in June 1964 playing to nearly 200,000 screaming
fans in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. 40 years to the day that the
Beatles played Melbourne
(June 16 and 17) we are going to relive the experience by screening the concert
filmed at Festival Hall on June 17, 1964.

This unedited concert footage features all the support acts, Johnny Chester,
Johnny Devlin, The Phantoms, Sounds Incorporated and of course The Beatles.
For those who are interested


To compliment the concert footage we will be screening other archival footage of
the Beatles in Australia coupled with a few surprises of Australian life in
1964.

No show would be complete without a live performance and who better than The
BEATELS, Australia's premier Beatle look-a-like, sound-a-like band. The BEATELS
have been chosen to perform at the Liverpool Beatles festival in August 2004.

I've never understood why they never went back, but instead went to Hong Kong and the Philippines in '66. Odd.
