I came across these two documents of Beatles releases (and other Apple releases) on the Pocket Disc and Playtape formats and I thought some of you Beatles collectors or fans of obscure formats might find them as interesting as I did:

Here's the Pocket Disc document with pictures:

and here's the Playtape document with pictures:

I just know that someone reading this is going to want to collect all of those releases on both formats. :)

I still have a Playtape player! I’m waiting for them to make a comeback!

My one and only copy is The Beatles - "Hey Jude" / "Revolution" pocket disc.
The Americom Corp. generic flexi sleeves are quite rare, and elusive themselves.
"Hey Jude" is a radio edit, timing in at 3:25 - less than half of the actual time.

I still have my copy of Hey Jude b/w Revolution that I bought from a vending machine at Woolworth's in downtown Tacoma, Washington.

    Craig,
Interesting, with the blue sleeve. These are usually seen with the red sleeve... when seen at
all. The sleeves came in both red and blue, with the blue version being rarer.
