    Very interesting. I have only recently started to use DD and have been experimenting with the procedure. Currently I'm soaping once, rinsing twice, playing three times. It did not occur to me to further dilute the solution.

    EC, are you saying that soap residue = rice krispies?

    It sure does, the residue will go away with playing, but why do that to your needle? A new record still seems to get all the benefits of anti-static with a very diluted wash.

    I use it 1to9 on everything, even used VGs, and if the record still looks & sounds as if it could use more then I try a soaper mix.
