    Back when this was on the charts in late 1983 and early 1984, I thought this Top 10 hit sounded like mid-period Beatles. In subsequent interviews, at least two of the members confirmed that they were going for that sound and vibe when the song was written and recorded.

    I actually always thought that rhythmically-especially in terms of the piano-Collins was very inspired by Martha My Dear for this song.
