"The Best Things In Life" TV station package

    For anyone (like me) who was around in New Orleans back in 1979-84, this was the iconic theme to Eyewitness News 4 on WWL-TV.



    It's from a TV station package from TM Productions (now TM Studios) entitled "The Best Things In Life," written and produced by Otis Conner, distributed January 1979.

    Channel 4/New Orleans was one of at least 4 stations in the nation to employ this package: others were KATC-TV 3/Lafayette, WXIX-TV 19/Cincinnati and WYTV-TV 33/Youngtown.

    Nope, but he was WWL-TV's very first Chief Meteorologist (July 1968 - February 1984).
