And, with the lead-up of 24 on Fox, Blacklist's season finale next week won't leave TV action/drama wanting. Tom will be making another appearance tonight, if only in the impressive Mustang commercial.
Despite my earlier comment, I'm somewhat intrigued by what the writers have in store tonight. I have laughed at several plot holes along the way but then every once in awhile they exceed my expectations. It is like they are intentionally using that inconsistency as a way to keep me guessing about the master plan. I have been a little disappointed the last couple of weeks so maybe it is time for a strong effort as I comtemplate giving up on it.
You should have seen the wig they had Tom in during Hair and Makeup tests for the Pilot, OY! Thankfully is was quickly decided that look was a path best not taken!
The guy is laying in the bed talking and I said out loud "Kaiser Solze......." What I wouldn't give to have heard: "I'm sorry, too, Tom, but so is Brenda Lee."
They really need to get Red and Lizzie on The Maury Povich Show to cleae this up once and for all.. Raymond Reddington you ARE the father!
So, then, Lizzie is furthering the befuddlement: she told Red that, just before he died, Tom told her that her father was still alive. So they dug deep in TV's past to come up with another one-armed man?
I figured it was too good to be true after they killed an agent I liked and left the donut eater in limbo.
The scenes with Alan Alda were top notch. The rest of the episode left me a little disappointed. I'm not sure I will watch Season 2.
Lizzie is probably nursing Tom back to health? Deceiving Red? Season 2 should be off to an interesting start.
My contention is that Tom is dead, but someone (perhaps Berlin) removed the body. For him to still be alive is far-fetched even for this show. Meanwhile, did anyone notice Red's upper back in the very last scene?
yes, definitely. That was shown for a reason that we'll figure out inthe fall, obviously releated to Lizzie's memory...............
Either he is the guy who rescued her from the fire and dropped her off at Sam's house, or despite his repeated denials, he is really her pop.
