Great storyline with Ron Pearlman, too bad they killed his character off, it would've been nice to have an ongoing scenario with him down the road, on and off.
Wasn't "The Factory" supposed to be in the ocean off the coast of south Asia somewhere? How did it become just a short helicopter ride away from DC?
And of course, Red Reddington never lies. My guess is that he's not the father but knows who the father is. I also think he may be a close relative like an uncle, and may have had a relationship years before with her mother. The biggest clue is the burn scar on Lizzie's hand, and horrible burn scars all over Reddington's back (glimpsed in one episode), so we knew long ago that they were both there the night her house burned down.
I like that they haven't abandoned the whole Tom storyline-he's a real PITA! More David Straithairn please! And in bad ratings news, "The Slap" and "Allegiance" are the crappy bookends that "The Blacklist" really doesn't need.
Watched this weeks episode last night and I wasn't too happy with it. Yeah, not all episodes are going to be high-octane action and intense scenes throughout but this one just reeked of the usual "evil USA corporation" BS storyline that's been done so many times and is pretty predictable....so tired of that crap from Hollywood.
And another lame agenda episode - that's two in a row. I'm beginning to get fed up with this show now too - and that's fine, I enjoy listening to music much more than almost anything the TV will toss my way.
Pretty lame episode. The villain of the week was bad on many counts. The stuff with Red and the mystery man behind the mystery number is cool.
And as enjoyable as 'Red's' tilted-head reactions, mannerisms and idiosyncracies are....and they are enjoyable....at a point in time, they alone are insufficient to maintain a weekly series.
It's that, combined with the reactions of all the FBI characters. But neither the FBI characters alone nor Red Reddington alone are enough to sustain the show. It needs to be all of them together, and they don't do that very often on this series. I sometimes get the feeling that James Spader is only working 2 days a week.
