You know what's missing from my collection that I don't have? A Very Brady Christmas.

I wonder what Mike's reaction to that 45 would be if someone were to bring it to an autograph signing. Part of me thinks he wouldn't remember it, but if he did remember, I think it'd be something he'd rather forget he did. But then again, I could be wrong on both counts.

I love the Brady Bunch. Always have. I even liked Cousin Oliver.

Reed’s behavior strikes me as that of someone who thinks himself overqualified for the job and he may well have been. But the rent must be payed and groceries bought. The seems to create a conflict whereby you are constantly explaining yourself and expressing disdain for that which gives you sustenance. Every industry has these people.

Like some folks from Star Trek I reckon he later grew to appreciate the legacy. That might be why he appeared in the sequels.

Regarding Robert Reed: You may be right that in later years he grew to appreciate the show's legacy, thus appearing in the sequels, but I think the biggest reason(s) he appeared in them was due to the fact that he grew to love "the kids" and enjoyed them and working with them, probably more than he disliked Sherwood Schwartz and his go rounds/arguments with him.

    Now for the final part...

Downloading all of The Brady Bunch music, which means every single album and single.

Something tells me Reed rather enjoyed the disagreements, in a bizarre way! It gave him a chance to really put forth in a tangible manner his passion for theater writing and performing.

I think it was the way a Shakespearian trained actor dealt with the grim realty that he was the star of an Ozzy & Harriet influenced sitcom.

So I thought I had every single piece of Brady Bunch music downloaded. Turns out I had this album with the atrocious cover left to get.

She looks older than her 42 years when she cut this album in 2011.
    And what's with those fishnets?

She would have been 52 in 2011.

Came across this sweet shag carpet dvd box set recently for $15. What a steal. It includes a color book with episode synopses and photos. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the little cardboard flower rolodex thing that they load all the discs in. I hadn't watched an episode in at least a decade, so it's good to get back into it. And so far, my daughters love the show too.

I presume you mean the vocal albums by the kids... I have almost all of them...

I was wondering if there ever were or could be a release of the backing incidental music tracks from the original tv shows. I can hum many of them.

I'd buy a soundtrack CD in a minute! (Or wonder if there are any downloads out there???)

I'd buy a soundtrack of THE BRADY BUNCH, GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, GREEN ACRES, BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, many others.
