I have to mention the 1985 CD of The Unforgettable Glenn Miller.

 

I haven't A-B'd everything in my collection. With over 5000 CDs, there's no way i'm going through every one! Besides, the ones where I don't have an LP counterpart to, saying they sound like vinyl will be highly subjective. Also, I don't believe that something sounding like vinyl makes it better.

I think the DCC CD of "Band on the Run" sounds like an LP (although I admit to having no LP version to compare it to )

 

Steve's SACD Zombies sounds like vinyl in a euphoric state...just amazingly blissful....

the Zombies disc is unbelievable. Steve did an incredible job. My wife is still talking about the sound on that one. I think that is my demonstration disc for sacd now.
