Saw The Cowsills in San Diego a few weeks ago. Wasn’t expecting much, but dangit, they were great! Funny, relaxed, good interaction with audience ... and their voices still sounded remarkably good.
I saw them as part of the Happy Together tour last month. They should have gotten more time on stage And they're part of another free show coming up this Sept. in NJ.
And yet they played all their hits! LOL. Did you see them at Westbury? Every act got about the same stage time I'd say
They do a live version for the Billy Benefit Concert that's available with the brother who wasn't part of the band, Richard (rest in peace,) singing lead. I have to say considering he had no vocal training he wasn't too bad
The Cowsills were/are a great, great group ! Susan, Bob, and Paul (sometimes joined by their brother John) are still at it and still sound fantastic ! RIP Bill, Barry, Barbara, and Bud
The Cowsills have put their new acapella version of The Rain, The Park, And Other Things for download on CDBaby! ♫ The Rain, the Park and Other Things (A Cappella) - The Cowsills. Listen @cdbaby
Today, The Cowsills' new album project hit 99% of it's goal! I speculate that someone must have pledged for a private concert with Bob, Paul, and Susan ($9,000). There have been a couple of huge pledges - one comprised 36% of the goal. The Cowsills: The Cowsills: Brand New Album! I celebrate with one of my favorite tracks from "Global" - "Is It Any Wonder?":
just ordered the vinyl package with the cds and tshirt etc. For 100 bux it's a great offer. Hope its good! LoL
Don’t know much about The Cowsills, but keep reading here about some bad family mojo... can somebody give me the short me the version? Thx.
Susan Cowsill still has a remarkable voice. And she is every bit the ray of sunshine as ever, God Bless her.
The album hit 100% today. I also went for the vinyl package (sadly, there never was vinyl for Global).
Dad was a tyrant or a monster, depending on which fill-in-the-blanks story you choose to believe. Mom was an enabler. One brother (Bill) eventually died of a hard life (drugs, drinking indirectly) at age 58, another (Barry) died in the aftermath of Hurricane Catrina at age 50.

Just view the PledgeMusic fulfillment date of Sept. 1 with a good deal of scepticism. I know they have yet to begin recording the new album. The a capella disc is done, though.
