Not necessarily referring to vinyl; just the notion that albums had to be between 35-40 minutes long. With the advent of the CD, artists feel that, since they have all this room, may as well fill it up. So we are now getting the CD equivalents of double-albums on an almost weekly basis. Not to sound like an old fogey, but I miss the days when an artist could speak his/her piece in 35-40 minutes. In this CD era, are there any CDs (I mean, new releases, not reissues) that fall between that "old-fashioned" running time?
