With such a great diversity in songs composition, theme and performance, can you still pick a favourite?
To me, Spanish Caravan always had that special stand alone spot.

I'm not a fan, but "Touch Me" is a pretty beguiling creation. Pity Sinatra never covered it.

Very difficult to narrow it to one. Riders On The Storm.

"The Crystal Ship" for me! :)

It was my first "favorite Doors song" and still remains so today. The perfect summary of Jim's poetic flair with that 60's only kind of romanticism.

    With strong runner-ups in:

    Love Street
    Yes, The River Knows
    Indian Summer
    Touch Me
    Riders On The Storm

Light my Fire. I've always been fascinated by Robby's solo, though someone who plays guitar told me it's not very difficult.

WOW .... this is like asking a mother wh0 her favorite child is like lol. If I was pushed I'd have to say "Moonlight Drive" from Strange Days but the first couple of Doors albums are pure gold (IMHO) so any tracks from those albums would contend IMHO ....

Waiting for the Sun is my favorite. Soul Kitchen and Moonlight Drive are my next two favorites.

I think the studio recording of Soul Kitchen captures the complete essence of The Doors .

    I'll vote "The Crystal Ship"

but "Break On Through" is about the same level.
"Riders on the Storm" is certainly one of the best songs to listen
    to at night.
