Maybe management should drop audio on a Copenhagen track included in the set for fans to discuss and give the band further free viral marketing.

So they had a WFTS rough mixes tape for the 14 years Jampol has been manager and didn't listen to it?

Then there's the post-Jim album master tape thing and Botnick sitting on the best copy of the Universal Soldier film. There's also questions about the 1969 PBS master.

With all due respect to Danny, he wasn’t much of a manager on several fronts.

PBS master is incomplete And missing? Great. We are lucky we get anything at all. A cat burglar already robbed the vault.

I'm sure that the boxes will be available when they are finished with the pizza served on them.

." The new live tracks, meanwhile, came from a tape owned by a private collector who "had it for years and was trying to get a lot of money for it. Finally he became more reasonable and we were able to use it."

that's why Copenhagen gets the Matrix treatment

I am confused by your comment, as since this person finally allowed permission for the Tape to be used(if it was a financial agreement or whatever), why are we not getting the complete Copenhagen Show, but just part of it like the recent Matrix RSD Releases and on CD with The Doors Debut 50th Anniversary Box set?

Because The Doors still paid considerable money for the tape, hence the slow trickle of released material (just like The Matrix recordings).

Maybe it’ll be released on RSD. Maybe not.

Ok got it. The Doors Current Management is just milking the Live Releases over time to get the Fans to pay several times for the same Concerts, is what I assume you meant.

    Pretty much.

Personally, I'll check out the Copenhagen live tracks when they inevitably turn up on Youtube. They'll get my cash when they release the complete show (ditto Matrix).

I'm in for the digital release. I already purchased the three available tracks. I was going to just purchase the bonus tracks until I realized that it would cost more to buy them individually than it would be to buy the entire digital set. The rough mixes look to be an interesting new way to listen to the album sans the two tracks from the album that don't have rough mixes.

The Waiting For The Sun remaster of the album was Plangent processed from the original master.

After looking up what that actually means, that's great to know. Was that done specifically for this 50th mastering or was that already done on a previous mastering? (recent Sacd etc)
