EXCELLENT MOVIE!

 

LOVE this. Bill Paxton was fabulous...have it on DVD and BR.

 

Lee was my Mom's favorite Dracula...for some reason she loved Hammer Horror! LOL...she used to call me up and tell there was a scary Dracula movie on TV...yup, Lee...

 

I think he really may be Dracula!

 

I have yet to see a more horrifying actor in a role! LOL...he makes my skin crawl.

 

In case you didn't know, that's Ketty Lester who had a top 5 song ten years earlier with this :

 

I was around 20 when I first saw this and it still scared the bejeebers out of me!

 

I did not know that.

 

I have never been much of a fan of vampire films ;however, Fright Night and Fright Night 2 are both fantastic.

 

Robert Eggers, who wrote and directed last year's The Witch, is currently working on a remake of that film as we speak... so long as the studio gives him the time and freedom to do it right, expect great things...

 

It just has to be that naughty Nosferatu...

 

she was super hot, we watched a BUNCH of Dark Shadows recently. Started calling her the Breck Girl because of that fabulous 60's hairstyle.

However, no vampire thread is complete without a pic of the gorgeous Queen of Hammer vampires.... here's Ingrid Pitt in "house that dripped blood"

Who remembers the scary-Blood An Roses[1961]about a female vampire?

 

I never saw the movie but the trailer sure creeped me out!

 

I love the Santo/Dracula movies!!

 

That is cool, but I think I'll always prefer Frazetta's Vampi.

 

The 30 Days Of Night graphic novel is pretty cool. I've never seen the movie.
