The Kingsmen are on there. Is Oregon based in Oregon or were they just a jazz group called Oregon?

 

Most of the bands on my New York list have been covered.

Except the Wu Tang Clan.

Yes, Oregon formed in Eugene - the core of the group originally backed Oregonian Tim Hardin, most notably in his set at Woodstock.

 

Dang impressive list. Most of the best music in ever created wouldn't exist wouldn't those guys.

Yep.

Bands include The Queers and The Shaggs. Not exactly household names but still sort of...known. GG Alllin, too

 

No one's tried tackling Vermont yet, huh? I moved here about 5 years ago. Let's see, you got your Phish, and your Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, aaaand I'm pretty sure that's about it. Maybe if you count the Trey Anastasio Band separately...

 

Along the lines of Phish was the band Strangefolk which had a little success among certain music circles.

Sam Amidon is from Vermont.

 

Then, we can replace Billie with Frank Zappa, who was born in Baltimore. Or we could add Ric Ocasek.
