  1. Michael

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

    Danny Gaton, What a tragety. I enjoyed his talent! What could have brought him to that point? I guess we'll never really know. As bad as things seem, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

    @Claus,

    That OK Claus, you are entitled to your own opinion, and just because we don't always agree, it doesn't change my opinion of you as I know you to be a reasonable fellow most of the time.

    Hell! I can't even agree with myself half of the time!:D

  4. Grant

    Grant Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me!

    I didn't think "New Jersey" was too bad. But it is a kind of overblown "Slippery When Wet".

    Ice Cream Puff, Puff n' Stuff, Puffy stuff, full of stuff...

    I have a theory that any white person who can sing like a black person has a far greater prospect of fame than a black person who can sing like a black person, given the same opportunities.

    I also have a view (in the field of pop/rock) that any person who can consistently compose catchy 3 minute pop songs (as I have tried to do many times over the last 30 years but have invariably failed) can never be overrated. The converse is that any person who has achieved fame but can't so compose may well be overrated.

    I'm not naming names though!

    Britney Spears and all her clones. If she were 250 lbs and pimply faced no way would she have a career. Sexiness does sell, even if the music stinks, and man does it stink.

    All those boy band groups. Okay all you Boys To Men, you're now men, give it up already. Same goes with all the clones, N-Stink...32 degrees. You get the idea.

    Ron,

    That was the most well thought out educated response I think I've ever read ! I agree with some of your points and disagree with others, but thank you for responding intelligently. Your opinion is respected from where I'm sitting even if we may have different points of view on Stevie.

    Danny Gatton ? Awesome beyond words. I've been a fan of his since I first heard him 1986. Everything a great guitar player and all around musician could ever hope to be. A real tragedy he is no longer around as well.

    Best Regards - Ed
