whatever we call it...I'm just thrilled to finally get this...hopefully they've added to the content! the poor impatient ones that bid on the ebay auction for the recalled set paid a fortune!

True - but it's just as likely they've taken away content due to rights clearance. It will be interesting to see how all this shakes out, that's for sure.

I'm going on record as saying that the main changes they've made will be adding back in the original soundtrack in the few spaces where there was mistakenly no music on last year's complete set.

I'm getting tired of Amazon's pricing game...last week they had the OVERPRICED re-release of the recalled box for $212+ today they raised it to $223+ all others have it way under $200.

the original recalled set was $135.00 at Amazon last year...weirdos.

And, three years later, the full-series is once again "back on the schedule."

CBS/Paramount is re-releasing the series in a full-series set, somewhat scaled back from what they're now calling a limited edition MOST WANTED set. Scheduled for May, 2015. Known details here:

just like them...of course I paid through the nose for this and had to deal with all the BS of disc exchange...couldn't wait now could you? let's see how much they screw this one up! I'm sure it'll be a third of the original high priced set...BUT hey! we got a bonus DVD! Ouuuuu...

I'm happy for you as many could not afford the original or did not want to put up with the exchange BS...

You mean they're putting it out to make money?

I feel your pain - as you know I was in that initial fiasco with you. But the studio probably lost a bundle on those initial box set blunders, even the 2nd box had problems and they had to manufacture 4 or 5 dvd's to send out free to those that knew about the errors. This box is "shelf-friendly" which is really nice plus this time they've probably got an error-free box to sell. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't blame them for trying to recoup some cash here, plus, the other boxes are OOP now and fetching some cash. Hint, hint....

It would be nice to know what these will be selling for.

I guess you are correct, but it's not the first time they pulled this...how many times have they re-released TV Shows again and again?...take for instance Little House On the Prairie, the Twilight Zone, The Three Stooges and they are not done yet! I always paid top dollar because I did not want to take a chance on it going OOP...boy was I wrong!

But you never know - that's the point. Look at prices for THE PRISONER on Blu-ray. It's up around $200 because it's out of print now.

I thought the box was already OOP but I was wrong. I just looked at the listing on Amazon to see. I also checked to see if I could sell mine there and I got a
