    How come this never came out in the USA? I only have the original DVD and it's crap. 4:3 letterboxed, non-anamorphic. I see there is a Blu-ray that came out in Germany, but it does not contain any English tracks so it's pretty much useless to me. Anyone know why this was never released in the USA? There is probably even less chance of this coming out on Blu-ray than The Abyss or True Lies but just curious. I did find out there is a Region 2 DVD that is 16x9 and anamorphic. Anyone know where to get it? Thanks.

    The 2017 German release has an English track, with an aspect: 2.10:1. The 2016 release is listed as German language only. (at blu-ray.com)

    Would be nice to see a blu-ray release. It's an exciting account of a very strange event, and is probably one of the better 90s offerings from Douglas or Kilmer, whose bankability both declined shortly after this period.
